The Yacht Club Pub

The Yacht Club Pub, decorated with club burgees left by visiting yachtsmen from around the world, is headquarters for most social activities. The walls have been covered with autographed dollar bills, a tradition which was started with the Club’s inception, when retired World War II fighter pilots would hang signed bills as a token for future friends that may visit The Club to have a drink “on them”. Jimmy Carter, former president of the U.S., is among the many celebrities and politicians who have visited The Club and a special place has been set aside for his signed dollar bill as a remembrance of his stay at Green Turtle Club. Be sure to look for it when you are in The Yacht Club Pub. The Club has been fortunate to accommodate celebrities such as Christopher Reeve, Patrick Wayne, Karen Parsons, Julie Andrews, Tony Shalhoub, Jimmy Dean, Kenny Rogers, James McCarther and many more…

The Club specialty, the Tipsy Turtle Rum Punch, was chosen by Esquire Magazine as the best rum punch in all of the Caribbean. The Club features a variety of local live music with musicians and bands from mainland Abaco. On Wednesday nights, The Green Turtle Club plays host to “The Number 1 Band in The Nation”… Green Turtle Cay’s own Gully Roosters Band! The Gully Roosters perform originals of their own and reggae classics under the buttonwood tree on the deck at The Club. There is nothing better than grooving to the band under the stars to a driving rhythm that is guaranteed to keep you dancing.
